Disneyland has come under fierce fire after it was revealed that it had quietly implemented a massive price hike to some of its food and drinks.

Between continuously rising ticket prices, sky-high hotel costs and expensive food and merchandise, going to the Anaheim, California-based theme park has become more expensive than ever.

And now, guests will have to pay even more if they want to eat at the 'Happiest Place on Earth,' as Disneyland has reportedly raised the cost of 800 plus menu items this week.

According to a new report from Theme Park IQ, beloved treats like churros, popcorn, ice cream, funnel cake and pizza, as well as coffee, bottled DASANI water and soft drinks were amongst the things that are now more expensive.

Churros went from $5.75 to $6.25, an 8.7 percent increase, while popcorn rose from $6.50 to $7.00, a 7.7 percent spike.

Coffee had one of the bigger raises, going from $4.79 to $5.49, which equates to a 14.6 percent increase.

DASANI water bottles also had a 14.6 percent increase, going from $4.79 to $5.49. A bottled soda had a smaller price hike it now costs $5.49 instead of $5.19, which is a 5.8 percent raise.

Fans were furious about the news, and took to X to share their frustrations.

'Some of these [increases] are viciously evil - they need to put the brakes before there's eventually backlash - everyone eventually has a breaking point,' one user wrote.

'$7 for popcorn just seems like a lot. I feel like I’ve paid less for popcorn at the Confectionery in Magic Kingdom,' shared someone else.

'$7 for popcorn is wild,' agreed a different user.

'Corruption. It’s laughable how much they charge. What a scam. If Costco can sell food that cheap so can Disney. BS,' read a fourth post.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Disneyland for comment.

It comes as Disney's ticket prices continue to soar.

A ticket to enter Disneyland when it first opened in 1955 would have cost an adult just $1, which would be $11.53 today if adjusted for inflation, while children's tickets cost a mere 50 cents.

At the time of opening, however, guests had to pay additional fees for each ride. But these cost just 10 cents for kids and 23 cents for adults - the equivalent of $1.15 and $2.65 in today's dollars.

Now, it'll cost you anywhere from $103 to $206 for a day at Disneyland.

Over at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, a one-day adult ticket to Disney World ranged from $79 to $82 back in 2010.

And now, 16 years on, single-day tickets cost as much as $189 for Magic Kingdom and it was recently announced that the ticket prices would be going up again in 2026.

In addition, Disney has faced fury in recent years for eliminating certain perks that it used to offer to its guests ranging from free gifts to complimentary transportation.

Some avid Disney fans feel that the silent removal of the benefits, along with rising prices, is simply ruining the magic.
